Introduction to film acting

A true Miranda Davidson Studio original, this 3-week acting intensive for those curious in the world of acting. Whether it be passion or previous experience, this class offers a strong foundation of acting in film, TV and theatre. It dives into the inner psyche and exposes the truth behind the craft. Great as a beginner or a refresher course for anyone interested or just curious in pursuing acting as a hobby or career. ​ Outline for the course is as follows: Students will learns MDS technique and methodology, they will then take technique on how to analyse a script/character and how to take each of those sections and build your own creativity around it. [to be used in Scene Study course] Students will also learn about emotional triggers, meditation, touch on emotional attachments in life (Guided meditation) and learn how to apply those to dialogue on due. She will also give a different perspective of how movies are created, character background.
