We are going to assume that you have the www.Mixfame.com website open on your device, right? No? Go for it! What are you waiting for? Let’s take this step by step; don’t worry; it’s easy and won’t take a lot of your time.

The first step to stardom and fame begins!

How to Sign up?

First things first, if this is the number one visit to the platform. We need to create a username and password for your account to log in at a later stage and create the profile. We’ll start by clicking on the Sign-up button on the top right corner of your screen, which will lead you to 2 options: Hire talents and Find work. Now if you’re looking for talents yourself to be hired for your jobs, you can go with the first option (we got that covered in a different topic though.) However, that’s not our objective here. You will need to click on Sign up as a talent. 

Afterward, you will be redirected to another page where you will be prompted to enter your First name, Last name, and the email address to be used as a username as well as a password, of course. If you already use an email for a company profile on the platform, we recommend using a different one for your talent profile to avoid conflict in the system.

You may also sign up using your Facebook account profile.

Once all of that is done, you shall receive a confirmation email – give it a couple of minutes to be there. Open it, and click on confirm. Congratulations! You’ve just successfully signed up to become our future STAR!

How to create a profile?

Great! Onto our next major step. This is where we get to know you better. Tell us EVERYTHING about you down to the smallest, juiciest details! Starting with your childhood, when did you have your first baby steps? First words? Just kidding! Let’s begin.

Personal Details & Appearance

It’s self-explanatory: we need to know your personal details and how you look. We recommend providing as much accurate info as possible; this will help shape your profile better for anyone looking to hire you, meaning, increasing your chances. We wouldn’t want you to lose a role or a gig over wrong info. The Devil is in the details!

The personal details consist of the following:

●       Date of Birth – So we can celebrate it together!

●       Gender – Male or Female

●       Nationality – This is an important detail: in the case you have several ones, we recommend choosing the one you want to be identified by as a talent.

●       Ethnicity – which is defined as shared common culture and looks. i.e. Asian, Latino, Indian, Caucasian, Filipino, Middle Eastern, African (North Africa as well), and Coloured. (We would like to clarify that colored ethnicity is not related to any racist terminology. This refers to members of multiracial communities who may have ancestry from more than one of the various populations.)

The Appearance details are the following: (make sure to enter the current and latest detail of your look)

●       Height – Guys, don’t lie about it!

●       Weight – Ladies, we know, we know.

●       Hair Color, Type, and Length

●       Eyes Color

●       Shoe size

●       Waist Size

●       Chest size

Location and Language

Next, we need to know where you are and what language you speak.

On this page, we need you to enter the country and the city you currently live in, not the country you come from. It’s important!

Also, you need to select which languages you speak as well as the dialects of each language. Easy, yeah?

Experience details

Now, this is where it gets interesting.

At this step, we are looking to know more about your previous and current experience as a talent. First, you may select from the below general list of categories:

●       Film Crew: Sound, Lighting, Film managers, Art, costume, etc.

●       Photographers: Fashion, Product, Lifestyle...

●       Actors: Film, TV series, Short films, Theatre…

●       Models: Fashion, Print, Hair, TV…

●       Influencers: Beauty, Fitness, Parenting, Music…

●       Musicians: Shows, TV, Events…

●       Fashion Stylists: Hair, Wardrobe...

●       Make and Hair: Stylist, Beauty...

●       Event staff and Ushers: Hostesses, Indoors, and outdoors

●       Extras: Background, Featured.

●       Presenters and Emcees: Host, Promoters.

●       Dancers and performers: Music videos, TV, events.

Contact details

At this step, you will be asked to enter your contact details as phone numbers which allow the team of Mixfame to contact you about any roles and jobs.

You need to enter the phone number for calls and another one for WhatsApp. You may enter the same number for both.

Don't worry! Your privacy is our top priority. The mobile number is only displayed to clients if there is an Audition/Job for you.

Now, let’s put a face to the name, shall we?

This is probably one of the most important steps to be done properly as this is what our team and our clients will come across first. This is your first impression, and we all know how vital it is to make a good one. Show us that beautiful face of yours!

The headshot uploaded must match the below requirements:

●       In color – It’s a MUST!

●       Recent – Always make sure to upload the most recent picture of yourself.

●       Full face view – It’s called a headshot for a reason. Make sure to keep it as close as possible with no backgrounds. It’s recommended to ask someone to take it for you.

●       Clear and in focus – Keep it high res.

You’ve made it! Your profile is created and can be accessed at any time by simply logging in. However, the platform allows you to add more information about yourself to make your profile stand out more! Consider it an entertainment CV.

You may add Photos of yourself, Videos, and Audios as well as previous experiences and jobs done before, whether a shoot or a voice-over gig.

The Non-premium account allows you to add up to 5 photos and 1 video. We recommend upgrading your profile to premium and uploading up to 100 of them.
