Looking For Actors To Participate In An Exciting Student Horror Short Film!!

We are a group of passionate film students working on a exciting horror short film that will be shot in Dubai.  

Movie Synopsis:


An abandoned villa, a ghostly spirit and an unfinished film script..... A group of young filmmakers must find a way to survive!

Roles we're casting for:  

1. Margret Reese - Woman, Late 30’s, Any ethnicity. She’s the ghost that formerly worked for Sunshine filming house during the 1930s as a writer until her untimely death during the peak of her career.

2. JJ - Man, 18 - 25 years old, Any ethnicity. He’s the producer of the film and has a strong, muscular built. He’s a jean, shirt and flannel type of guy that lacks any sense of responsibility. 

3. Malcolm - Man, 18 - 25 years old, Any ethnicity. He’s the director of the film and has a skinny built. He’s shy, introverted and non-authoritative by nature. He’s easily intimidated, finds trouble expressing his opinions and can be pushed over. 

4. Julie - Woman, 18 - 25 years old, Any ethnicity. She’s the writer of the film and of average built. She’s stubborn and has a wild imagination.

5. Karrie - Woman, 18 - 25 years old, Any ethnicity. She’s the camera operator and wears mostly dark colors. She’s an outcast, always in the background - observing and documenting.

6. Rachel - Woman, 18 - 25 years old, Any ethnicity . A laid back natured actress that constant clashes with her costar Kyle. 

7. Kyle - Man, 18 - 25 years old, Any ethnicity. He’s the costar to Rachel and a on-trend dresser with long hair and a scruffy beard. 

8. Lana - Woman, 18 - 25 years old, Any ethnicity. She’s the makeup artist for the film and a vain, stylish, ignorant and self-obsessed girl. 

9. Pete - Man, 18 - 25 years old, Any ethnicity. He’s the onset audio guy. He maintains a very professional level-headed approach in difficult situations.

Shooting location: Dubai

Casting date: July 6

Please note: As students we are on a budget and we cannot provide any sort of compensation although we will be providing transportation and catering on set! The cast will also receive footage for their showreel.
