This is a very exciting collaborative project, where strong creatives will show what they are capable of and drive this project into another level, where it will become the next big hit series! 

UMHLALI- THE CITIZEN

Umhlali is a 24 min Television Drama Pilot that takes place in Cape Town. It follows the lives of the protagonist and the antagonist who are unknowingly brothers and start betraying each other in events that will result in the death of one of them.

Roles: 

• Black Males 25 - 30yrs old- Tall, Xhosa and Shona speaking males. MUST BE fluent in Xhosa. Shona can be conversational. If fluent in both, that's a bonus.
• Black Male, +/- 26- 35 yrs old. Tall Xhosa speaking. 
• White Female- 25- 29 yrs old . Preferably brunette’s and red-hair.
• Black, Female- 25- 29 yrs old – Xhosa speaking. 
• Black, Female- 61 yrs old- Must speak fluent Shona. 
• VUYELWA: Black, Female, +/- 48 yrs old- Xhosa speaking. 
• White, Male, +/- 50- 55 yrs old.

THIS IS A STUDENT PRODUCTION AND WILL THEREFORE NOT BE A PAID SHOOT. FOOD AND TRANSPORT WILL BE PROVIDED.
