Arab Film Studio 2018 short film looking for cast!

Project description:

This short film is part of Arab Film Studio 2018, Image Nation's training initiative for filmmakers in the UAE. 

The film is set behind the scenes of a news program, and needs the following roles: 

2 main: News Anchor (female), News Director (female)

2 supporting: Makeup Girl (female), Assistant 1 (male)

1 featured extra: Assistant 2 (female)

Audition dates & location:

Auditions will be held over two evenings between March 29th and April 3rd, with a callback audition on the 6th of April. Exact dates and locations will be disclosed to the applicants. 

Shoot dates & location:

The film will be shot over two 12-hour days in Abu Dhabi. Tentatively April 27 - 28 (subject to change). Certain cast may only be needed on one of the two days. 

Screening:

The film will be screened once for the program's completion ceremony in November. It will also be submitted to film festivals regionally and internationally. 

Compensation:

Being on a tight budget, I unfortunately will not be able to offer financial compensation, though meals and snacks will be provided on shoot days as well as transportation if necessary. Cast will be given access to clips for their showreels.
