PLEASE READ BELOW VERY CAREFULLY!

Why am I not getting selected to go to castings or shortlisted and why am I not being confirmed on shoots?

Here are some probable reasons:

1. Your Mixfame Online Talent Profile is not updated with your most recent and most professional photos.

1.a. It is possible you arrived at a casting with short hair when your photos on your Mixfame Online Talent Profile are portraying you with long hair. This is very unprofessional and could jeopardize your future castings.

1.b. Your photos on your Mixfame Online Talent Profile are very unprofessional – potential clients will immediately reject unprofessional profiles.

2. You are not showing up for castings you have been selected for - this is very unprofessional. You must get to the castings you are invited to. This is very important, and “no shows” are marked by the clients and remembered.

2.b. If for some very good reason you select to send a self-tape, rather than go to the casting - do so immediately and follow the self-tape instructions 100%. Request our assistance if you are unsure.

2.c. You are not following the self-tape audition instructions correctly. This frustrates clients and your self-tape auditions will be rejected. Read through the instructions very carefully. Please request our assistance if you are unsure.

3. You are not applying to the cast calls via the Mixfame Online Casting Platform. You must apply to get selected.

3.a. Castme works via the Mixfame Online Casting Platform so please apply to our cast calls that you have read through very carefully and please only apply if you fit the brief 100%.

It is essential that you put 100% professional effort into your Mixfame Online Talent Profile. Attend castings if you are requested to. Have your correct whatsapp number and email address loaded on your Mixfame Online Talent Profile and complete all information needed. Be professional and on point with your self-tape auditions. This is all key to getting confirmed work.
