Deaf African, Coloured, Mixed Race Male / 25 - 55 years

We are looking for a deaf actor, from the Cape coloured or African community with a characterful, lived-in face who is expressive and capable of authentic anger as well as deep pathos. He should be comfortable with vocalising with a range of sounds – for example,
sometimes he will have to mutter to himself, or snarl or shout, and when he is whipped he howls.

He should be strong enough to lift a bag of flour onto one shoulder, and be comfortable handling horses.
