Cape Coloured Actors needed for Local Film

Need to be able to learn a script and speak Cape Afrikaans with correct accent Role Bio: Granny is mixed race (60s). She’s Officer Peterson mother in-law. When we meet her she’s grieving her recent daughter’s death (Officer Peterson’s wife). She’s a recovering alcoholic who’s recently relapsed in and is drinking again. She’s angry and blames officer Peterson for the loss of her daughter. Shoot will be max 5 days for this role.

He’s tough, intelligent & street smart. He embraces the rules of the street, in a different life he could have been a captain of industry- he has the ingenuity, creativity & natural leadership skills. He’s a natural charmer. Angers easy & likes to fight. He is concerned with money and goods. Role will shoot for a max 13 days

He’s an artist and aspiring photographer. He’s Cape Colored (mixed-race) On first encounter he appears to be the quiet-type, mysterious, but a lot is going on inside. He wants to become his own person and get out from under his older brother’s influence. Role will shoot for a max of 13 days.

Role Bio: Leila is a strong, intelligent, young woman. She comes from a middle class family and neighbourhood. She’s an art lover and is attracted to dark and mysterious men; thus her romantic relationship with Gabriel. She’s passionate, loyal and unafraid. She stands up for herself and what she believes in.
