TV SERIES LOOKING FOR YOUNG ACTORS

Class B is a television series surrounding the lives of ten high school students. Production begins in July-August in Beirut, Lebanon. 

Physical appearance must pass as a high school student, no acting experience necessary.

Applicants should be aged between 18-25 years, english speaking and available for two months of shooting.

Please note that this is an unpaid job but you will gain a lot of exposure and experience, having the opportunity to work alongside a large and passionate team.

We are casting for the following characters: 

• Sara: Rebellious girl who enjoys hanging out with her friends. She gets into an altercation with her parents as we discover that she doesn't trust them, and they don't trust her.

• Benny: The class joker, but we discover more to him. We learn that his father is a drunk who doesn't work, and that his mother walked out on them a few years back. Benny looks after his littler sister and works as a waiter after school, in order to provide for his family.

• Judy: The smartest kid in her class, and we discover her ambition and reason behind her hard work. However, we also discover that she relies on drugs in order to help her concentrate.

• Phillip: The new kid in town, who mostly keeps to himself and spends his time playing video games. We watch as he adapts to his new school and classmates.

• Amara: A quiet girl who doesn't say much, until we discover that she has been a victim of sexual assault. Her school and classmates become more aware of the situation, especially how it relates to victim blaming.

• Daniel: A popular boy who's great at sports, however, doesn't do too well in school. His relationship always demands his attention, but he decides to put himself first in order to do better at school.

• Fey: The most popular girl in school, always sarcastic and a little mean. We discover her home situation, and learn that she's in the middle of her parents messy divorce.

• Nicolas: A popular guy who's friends with everyone, and already accepted the fact that he's gay. He tries to find a way to come out to his friends and family, with the fear that they won't accept him for who he is.

• Zain: Introduced as the typical bad boy, until we discover the different side of him. Neglected by his parents, who are always away, he ends up surrounding himself with a different crowd and unexpectedly falls in love.

• Miuna: The innocent and the cheerful. Miuna enjoys school, and has a goal to befriend everyone. She surrounds herself with happy people, always trying her best to get to know the people in her class, and the people outside of her class.

Shortlisted talents will be sent an audition script that will require you to film yourself performing/reading the script. Please note that it doesn't have to be filmed professionally (we just need to see your face and hear your voice clearly). If there is no one with you to help you by reading the remaining dialogue, just pause in-between and continue with your lines.
