We are looking for an editor and sound designer to be a part of our student short film. Logline: A dead young girl is taken back in time to find out who killed her in a village where women are damned to go missing if they sin. This project will be published online on platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo. It will also be submitted to multiple film festivals. We are final year students from SAE Dubai who have previously worked on TVCs, short films, documentaries, music videos and TV show pilots. We have a rich passion for creating great content and collaborating with others.

Film Editor

You will be editing our short film as well as assisting on set. The shoot dates are from the 13th - 20th of March. Post production will be around 3 weeks. You will be needed to edit an assembly, rough cut, fine cut and final cut. Specific dates will be shared once you're onboard!. On set, you will be needed to take the DIT Log as well as backing up the footage to the hard drives.

Sound Designer

You will be needed on set and during post production. Your role on set will be to record on location sound and foley. In post, your role will be to mix and master audio for the final cut. The shoot dates are from the 13th - 20th of March. Dates for post will be shared once you're onboard!
