I Spy With My Little Mind is a psychological drama with dark comedy elements, my senior capstone film at the American University in the Emirates. It follows a college student whose overthinking takes the literal shape of an older, faceless version of himself, and the relationship that starts to break that voice's hold on him.

Shot on a tight student budget. Intended for class evaluation, then student/festival submission.

No graphic content, but expect intense, dialogue-heavy emotional scenes. I'm a student filmmaker. This is my first time writing, directing, and producing a short from the ground up.

Male talent, approx. 180cm, slim build, with a strong, confident English accent. Plays the lead's internalized "inner critic": calm, dry-witted, quietly cutting rather than loud. Face concealed under a lampshade for the entire film, so voice and physicality carry the performance. Comfortable in a suit (own suit a plus). Visible skin (hands, neck) should read pale/light-toned on camera.

Female talent, college-age (early-to-mid 20s). Open to all looks/ethnicities. Plays the love interest: confident, warm, quick-witted, the one who draws our guarded lead out of his shell through playful banter and real emotional connection. Comfortable with naturalistic, dialogue-heavy scenes and strong on-screen chemistry.
